About Sanctuary

Sanctuary was created with the thought of providing a safe, peaceful place for friends to come together. A dream that was always there for furres to come and have someone to talk to, or a place to find help with a problem.  It is these things and many more now. It has become a 'place' in Furcadia and is the most visited dream ever created. It's there if you need to be healed or wish to be married. You can spar or run a persona play game in the IC area. Or perhaps you need a peer to council you OOC or some help with DS. You may wish to play a game or to listen to poetry by the wellspring. Bump a sign or book shelf to find out more about the surroundings, or just whisper Sancy and she will tell you info. Be sure to stop by the help desk if you are in need of assistance with anything, if it's not occupied whisper a Circle member. We welcome all furres and only ask in return that you be a polite guest. This is a neutral spot where furres from all walks of Furc life can come together in peace. We hope to see you there! 

History and Geography 

Sanctuary is a mountain island located in the chain off  the coast of Allegria. You arrive by boat, and must climb  the mountain to the main building. You will cross a bridge overlooking the River of Tranquility Or you might take another boat to the Merchant's Market, the IC area, or to the Meeting and Academy island. 

Sancy the cat is our  beloved pet kitty who lives in the Greenroom. She runs the dream for us, whispers signs and books to those who bump into them. She also will give info for to furres who ask.  Be sure to stop bye and give her a pet for all her hard work. 

Circle Hall, the main building, is on a high plateau. Inside you will find Cormallen's Bar and Grill, the infirmary, The  Prime's Chapel, library, Wellspring, and the Greenroom for  OOC socializing. Out the chapel door is the Druid's Tower,  a place to go for quiet reflection and private chats. The tree on the top was planted and helped to grow by a druid  friend and has magical powers. 

Merchant's Market provides a  place for furres to sell their wares. You can get anything  from Lerana's fine jewellery to Barett's cookies. The Merchant's charity is the Orphanage, located just NE of the market, where furlings can go to play or find furres to adopt them. 

There's many games and activities to try out. You can take a black orb to Niko's Pookie War, or play a game of checkers. There are a few booth games and the Warriors host a sparing ring. If you talk to a Golden Feaster, you might find out about a game of hide-n-seek or a poetry reading. 

If you take the boat farthest SE you can row to the nearby Academy Island. Here you can attend scheduled classes on subjects from Advanced DS to How to IC a furling. Read the signs to find out how to participate.
