Sanctuary Sanctuary was created
with the thought of providing a safe, peaceful place for friends
to come together. A dream that was always there for furres to
come and have someone to talk to, or a place to find help with
a problem. It is these things and many more now. It has become
a 'place in Furcadia and is the most visited dream ever created.
It's there if you need to be healed or wish to be married. You
can spar or run a persona play game in the IC area. Or perhaps
you need a peer to council you OOC or some help with DS. You
may wish to play a game or to listen to poetry by the wellspring.
Bump a sign or book shelf to find out more about the surroundings,
or just whisper Sancy and she will tell you info. Be sure to
stop by the help desk if you are in need of assistance with
anything, if it's not occupied whisper a Circle member. We welcome
all furres and only ask in return that you be a polite guest.
This is a neutral spot where furres from all walks of Furc life
can come together in peace.

Assumptions: |
The Circle is a chartered neutral
help and friendship guild, set up to help furres with problems,
be they real life, in character, or role playing. Sanctuary
is neutral ground, a safe haven where furres from all walks
of life and alignment may come for help, or to chat. The Circle
provides a variety of services to those who visit the Sanctuary.
Visitors must follow Sanctuary's rules. The Circle does not
accept the continuities of other guilds. Non-guild based role
play may be accepted. No rape or suicide plots, please.
The Circle is structured as a circle of three circlettes entwined,
and with all members as equal points on the circle.
The Heart, or center, of The Circle Is
Emerald Flame, the creator of the guild, and maker of Sanctuary,
the guild's dream. The Rah is Emerald Flame.
The three circlettes are the
Real Circlette, with Ayeka Jurai as its guiding member, the
Character Circlette, guided by Dorian, and the Scening Circlette,
guided by FreezingRain.

and Geography: |
Sanctuary is built on the plateau
of a mountain island. The holding includes an infirmary, market,
tower, chapel and a large combat practice area (for IC use).
The portal to Sanctuary is commonly found where the river meets
the main building on Allegria Island.
History and Geography
Sanctuary is a mountain island
located in the chain off the coast of Allegria. You arrive by
boat, and must climb the mountain to the main building. You
will cross a bridge overlooking the River of Tranquility Or
you might take another boat to the Merchant's Market, the IC
area, or to the Meeting and Academy island.
Sancy the cat is our beloved
pet kitty who lives in the Greenroom. She runs the dream for
us, whispers signs and books to those who bump into them. She
also will give info for to furres who ask. Be sure to stop bye
and give her a pet for all her hard work.
Circle Hall, the main building,
is on a high plateau. Inside you will find Cormallen's Bar and
Grill, the infirmary, The Prime's Chapel, library, Wellspring,
and the Greenroom for OOC socializing. Out the chapel door is
the Druid's Tower, a place to go for quiet reflection and private
chats. The tree on the top was planted and helped to grow by
a druid friend and has magical powers.
Merchant's Market provides a
place for furres to sell their wares. You can get anything from
Lerana's fine jewellery to Barett's cookies. The Merchant's
charity is the Orphanage, located just NE of the market, where
furlings can go to play or find furres to adopt them.
There's many games and activities
to try out. You can take a black orb to Niko's Pookie War, or
play a game of checkers. There are a few booth games and the
Warriors host a sparing ring. If you talk to a Golden Feaster,
you might find out about a game of hide-n-seek or a poetry reading.
If you take the boat farthest
SE you can row to the nearby Academy Island. Here you can attend
scheduled classes on subjects from Advanced DS to How to IC
a furling. Read the signs to find out how to participate.

Yes, the three Major Magic Items
will be given to three Restricted Slots.
(The Wishing Well)
- A magical well, capable of
granting a wish, for good, for the mere cost of a rose. (located
in Emeralds Garden)
(Flame of Knowledge) - A
powerful rune dagger, invested with fire magic's, and the ability
to glean knowledge from those it wounds. (entrusted to Grymm)
(The Heart Crystal)
- A large emerald, cut to resemble
a valentine, said to possess marvellous healing powers. (In
Emeralds care but Sometimes carried by Leandria for heartbondings)

Continuity Notes: |
The Circle combines
OOC socializing, persona play, and role playing. The Circle is
divided into three Circlettes, each dealing with one of these
aspects. Sanctuary, the guild dream, is also kept open 24 hours
a day, when possible. Furres of all races, and all sexes, are
welcome here, regardless of beliefs, customs, or guild affiliations.
All members are equal as are all points on a circle. |
